Hospice Tree of Lights
The holiday season can be emotionally challenging as well as joyous. Hospice of Santa Cruz offers an opportunity for friends and family to share their grief, memories and hope with others at their Annual Tree of Lights on Dec. 6 at 940 Disc Dr. in Scotts Valley, and again on Dec. 8 at Deer Park Plaza (above Deluxe Foods) in Aptos. Both events are at 5:30 p.m. Family and friends are invited to remember and honor loved ones by dedicating a light on the tree. The ceremonies include music, a quiet reflection and a candle-lighting ceremony, with a reception with refreshments immediately following. The trees will remain lit during the entire season.
