The Scotts Valley Police Department will host the BADGES (Before Aggressive Drivers Get Everyone Stopped) program in December. The county-wide program has proven very successful in past years in reducing traffic collisions and otherwise improving road safety. Streets that have been the subject of citizen traffic complaints, as well as main roadways, will get special attention on Dec. 8 from traffic officers around the county. Seatbelt laws will be strictly enforced and vehicles driven by unlicensed/suspended drivers will be towed. Anyone with traffic concerns or comments may call Sgt. David Ball at 831-440-5664.
