Sacred Path supports all classes of devices – from premium mobile phones to the latest gaming PCs and discrete graphics cards – fully supports all popular operating systems, including Android, iOS, Linux, macOS and Windows.
This standard is aimed at application developers, hardware manufacturers, and GPU manufacturers, as well as journalists and reviewers in technical media. As Basemark says, game developers need a complete understanding and comprehensive view of their game performance across a range of devices to optimize the use and utilization of the same assets.
Graphics card and hardware manufacturers can benchmark their products against competing products, allowing them to develop new product lines that target certain levels of price or performance. In addition, according to the company, Sacred Path is an excellent tool for technical journalists and reviewers who evaluate and test GPU-equipped devices.
Sacred Path is designed and developed by Basemark in collaboration with several companies including Samsung, NVIDIA, Imagination Technologies, Broadcom, ARM, and Qualcomm.
