Julie Powell, a successful and well-known food blogger in the United States, publicly stated that “anti-vaccinators are dying by the hundreds” suddenly died of cardiac arrest.
Powell’s husband told the New York Times on Tuesday that his wife had died of cardiac arrest, without revealing other details.

“I would argue that COVID is killing some right people. Powell wrote on Twitter in response to a woman who wished Judge Brett Kavanaugh had passed away after he tested positive for COVID.
J. Powell, a staunch proponent of the COVID-19 vaccine, has tweeted about her booster shot and has been looking forward to getting it, despite the fact that she and her husband have been sick with Covid for the past few months.
In her last tweet, which came a little over a week ago, Powell also complained that she had a disease called “black hairy tongue.”
The 49-year-old author also wrote Julie & Julia, based on her experiences cooking every recipe in a cookbook that was the inspiration for the 2009 Hollywood adaptation starring Meryl Streep and Amy Adams.
