The deadline for submitting electronic check requests ends on Monday 23:59 stage.
This is the DYPA Check Grant Program for the 2022-2023 winter season.
The purpose of the program is the intellectual development of the workforce and the support of theater companies.
In total, they will issue up to 220,000 checks Based on the number of seats offered by service providers. The maximum check value is 15 EUR for Central scenes and on 12 euros for Scenes for children.
The total budget is up to 3,000,000 euros.
With the check, patrons and patrons can attend the theatrical performance of their choice from the DYPA Providers Registry, without paying any additional amount.
Applications are submitted online exclusively through the Greek Government’s unified digital portal gov.gr, at the following email address:

In cases where supporting documents are required, they are attached to the online applications.
Free theater tickets: Beneficiaries
Beneficiaries who are employed and unemployed with 50 days accrued in 2021:
- Work in e-EFKA (Department of IKA – ETAM) or
- Special provision for maternity protection or
- unemployment benefit or long-term unemployment or
- combination of above
Beneficiaries are also unemployed persons registered in the DYPA Register of unemployed persons who have a period of continuous unemployment at the end of the application deadline of at least four (4) months.
The beneficiaries of the program are the spouses of the beneficiaries, when they are indirectly insured members, as well as the children of the beneficiaries over the age of three, provided that they are indirectly insured members of one parent or the other parent.
The selection system is based on categorizing beneficiaries based on their income and prioritizing their applications.
What applies to service providers
Program sponsors are theater companies of any legal form that operate in accordance with current legislation.
Provider applications are submitted exclusively online through the Greek Government’s single digital portal, at the online address:

Providers participate in the program by offering a certain number of square seats to watch shows that will take place in their theaters during the 2022-2023 winter season.
Please note that providers wishing to apply for multiplex cinema must have DYPA codes.
