Greece, after completing the “16” stage in the Champions League, the European League and the Conference League and excluding teams from countries that threaten it, finished in the twentieth place for the 2022-23 season.

The “16” stage in the Champions League, the European League and the Conference League has been completed with matches on Thursday and on Friday (18/3) the “8” draw will take place.

With the teams remaining in the three institutions and continuing their European adventure alongside those that have completed their existence, Greece now also knows where they stand in the UEFA standings in which they will finish the 2022-23 season.

That would be the 20th place no country below ours can now reach as only Lech Poznan from Poland continues in the European Conference League but even if they reach the final of the competition the very difficult thing will not collect 5000 points behind Greece.

Of course, this is not a success, nor does it change anything dramatically for Greece, from the 18th to the 28th place, nothing has changed in terms of which teams go to Europe.

Perhaps the only positive has to do with the fact that Greece will start next year, with five teams going to Europe, from 20th with the initial aim of rising above 18th and then reaching as high as possible given 2024-25. season.
