In which stocks the ±10% volatility limit will apply from March 6th

Following the announcement of the Management Committee of the Athens Stock Exchange dated March 1, 2023 regarding the amendment of Decision No. 22 of the Athens Stock Exchange, it is indicated that the new fluctuation limits for stock prices with a dispersion of less than ten percent (10%) of the total ordinary shares of a listed company are set at ±10 % of the starting price of the stock. The percentage share dividend will result from the regular checks that will be carried out every quarter in accordance with the relevant regulatory provisions.

These limits apply regardless of: (1) the degree to which the stock is traded, and (2) the presence of a private trader.

In addition, the determination of the closing price of the share will be carried out using the improved method with control over the large value of transactions, as described in §2.1.9.2.1 (C) of the Athens Stock Exchange Regulations.

Finally, the automatic volatility control mechanism (AMM) hard limit does not apply to selected stocks.

Monday 6 March 2023 is the date the above changes will apply, which will take into account the spread data for yesterday’s closing session (Thursday 2 March 2023). According to this data, the stocks to which the volatility limits of ± 10% on the starting price of the stock will apply are as follows:

4. KARELIA SA TOBACCO (Mr.)
5. Brundia AEAP (Mr.)
6. ALPHA URBAN PROPERTIES SA (Mr.)
7. ATTICA SA by Post (CO)
8. AVE SA (Mr.)
