Joe Biden: What do Democrats think about his future after the debate with Trump?

Panic seems to be brewing among Democrats after Joe Biden’s photo in the debate with Donald Trump.

In fact, the US President’s performance appears to have disappointed members of the Democratic Party, leading some to seriously consider what previously seemed unthinkable: replacing him at the ballot box.

Strategic advisers close to three potential Democratic candidates said: Politico Throughout the debate, they were subjected to a barrage of text messages urging their candidate to come forward as an alternative to Joe Biden.

“Devastation”

Another advisor revealed that he had received at least 12 letters that spoke of “doom” and that the party must “do something,” acknowledging that not much could be done unless Biden steps aside.

“Don’t turn your back because of an appearance.”

One Biden supporter said it was time for the president to end his campaign. He called Biden’s night “the worst performance in history” and said it was “so bad that no one will pay attention to Trump’s lies.”

“Biden must go,” he added in a text message, without a doubt, suggesting an alternate ballot led by the governors of Maryland and Michigan.

“Don’t turn your back…”

At least two prominent 2028 candidates — Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker and California Gov. Gavin Newsom — stuck by Joe Biden after his debate appearance, with Newsom characteristically saying, “Don’t turn your back on appearance.” With him asking, “What kind of party does this?”

“Our only hope is that he withdraws, holds a negotiating conference, or dies.”

Additionally, when asked whether Biden should resign, he responded that the debate was “unnecessary” and “totally unhelpful.”

The US president appeared tense for much of his encounter with his political rival Donald Trump. Of course, this was the last thing he and his team wanted, as his fitness for office became an endless question, with his age of 81 becoming a major factor.

“Otherwise we’re done”

For weeks, Democrats had hoped that Joe Biden’s good debate performance would finally shut some mouths, but instead the opposite happened.

The party’s ideas, while unlikely to knock Biden off the top of the ballot, certainly reflect a major shift in the campaign.

History has shown that sitting presidents have performed poorly during debates, due to the overwhelming demands of their jobs, which mean there is little time to prepare for a showdown.

Our only hope is that he withdraws, or that we have a conference to negotiate, or that he dies. “Otherwise, we’re done,” a Democratic consultant said.

“He is the only one who defeated Trump and he will do it again.”

On the other side, Joe Biden’s campaign responded to the criticism, reminding everyone that he is “the only person who defeated Donald Trump and will do it again!”

In a statement, Biden campaign chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said Biden “offered a positive, winning vision for America’s future,” while Trump offered “a dark, reactionary window into what America would look like if he stepped foot in the White House again.”

“President Biden is the Democratic nominee and that doesn’t change because of his debate performance,” said Stephanie Cutter, a Democratic consultant.

“We need to stay calm and stay focused because Donald Trump certainly did not win the voters tonight,” she said.
