Johnny Knoxville He just accomplished the unimaginable – the “Jackass” star defeated the WWE Superstar Sami Zayn At the “Anything Goes” match at WrestleMania 38… with shocking help from his friend we man.
The celebrity performer just wrestled in his first match in WWE – against arch rival Sammy – and not only did he own it, but he walked away with WWE as well.
Former Intercontinental Champion Zane dominated Johnny for most of the match — but the tables turned when Knoxville got some much-needed help. Chris Pontius Nicknamed “Party Boy” and fan favorite Weeman.
Knoxville, known for being the king of pranks, had some special props and traps set up under the ring just for Sammy.
One of the highlights of the match came when Chris came out of nowhere – Sami looked like he’d seen a ghost – stripped down to his quick clothes… and started dancing Zayn in real party boy outfits.
Zayn got rid of Party Boy – but Wee Man was there to save the day. The brawler stuntman Sami was shocked when he emerged from under the ring… unleashed a series of punches on the professional wrestler.
Knox and Weeman rejoin the ring, as it becomes a (unofficially) 2v1 handicap match… and Weeman stole the show when his body slammed Zayn in the middle of the ring at AT&T Stadium.
Crowds ate it all together… They blasted off the incredible feat of strength from the acrobatic man – giving Knoxville the upper hand for the first time in the match.
Johnny had another trick up his sleeve before Sammy came out of his misery. The comedic genius unveiled a life-size mousetrap, placed Sami on it, and then actually trapped it Zayn… as he installed it 1,2,3.
Knox promised to beat Sami in Mania…and he promised to help some friends, of course.
