Shameful scenes just two minutes into the Warriors’ In-Season Tournament matchup with the Timberwolves, as Klay Thompson, Draymond Green and Jaden McDaniels were ejected after brawling.
The Warriors’ game against the Timberwolves started in the worst way possible, in a moment the world won’t soon forget. A moment of infamy led to a public brawl, just two minutes into the game and led to the suspensions of the Warriors’ Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, as well as the Wolves’ Jaden McDaniels.
In particular, on one of the first attacks of the game, Anthony Edwards missed a shot, as Thompson blocked McDaniels hard. This angered the Wolves, as the two players began pulling, pushing, and eventually some… brawling. This led to the other players entering the game, as Rudy Gober rushed to separate them, but Draymond Green did not realize this and headbutted the Frenchman!
The result of all this was that the referees eventually ejected Thompson, Green and McDaniels and the match continued.
