Therefore, players will have to wait until November 10, 2023 For the launch of the game, which was previously scheduled for March 1st. According to the team’s official statement, this is due to a legal issue. In particular, a private individual managed to register the name “the day before” before the company and thus now prevents the project from being launched.

Dear fans!
Shortly before release, Steam blocked our game page at the request of an individual due to the name “The Day Before”.
As you know, our game was announced in January 2021. At the time of the announcement, The Day Before branding was available.
After the game was announced, the person concerned brought it before us and registered the trademark for The Day Before in the United States.
What now?
Previously, we did not know this problem existed. We only found out on January 19, 2023, when we received a complaint from the individual and a request to contact them. Now we find out all the details of the incident and we will solve everything.
We previously planned to release an extensive gameplay video within the month, but we’ll need to work that out first. We will post a video as soon as possible.
As a result, we’ve made the difficult decision to push back the game’s release to November 10, 2023. We understand that this may disappoint many of our fans, but we want to make sure we release the best game possible.
