The documentary’s authors, Verena Paravel and Lucien Castine-Taylor, said they had a range of “very conflicting feelings” during the months he spent with Issei Sagawa and his deformed brother, John.
“We were disgusted, dumbfounded, and wanted to understand…”Verena Paravel explained, adding that it is “a movie about sisterhood and love”.
