During the next week, the joint ministerial decision is expected to be issued, according to which the terms and conditions for granting heating allowance will be determined, the payment of which will begin shortly before Christmas and will be completed at the end of April 2023.
The total amount to be saved is 500 million euros, plus a subsidy of 25 cents per liter per pump, a measure that will initially apply until the end of the year, without exception, if the conditions require its extension.
Recipients of this year’s allowance approximately 1.3 million families, While last year it was just under 900 thousand, this is because the assets have expanded, while the basis of the asset standard will also increase, due to the increase in objective values. The maximum amount a family can receive is 800 EUR From 750 euros last year, the lowest 100 euros, the same as last year.

However, in case someone wants to get double the amount, the standard is 14,000 euros for singles and 20,000 euros for married people.
The first installment, which will take care of the old beneficiaries, will be awarded around December 10 and after the relevant application has been submitted to myheating until the end of November.
This will be followed by the payment of new recipients who will submit an application by December 15th and the payment will be made at the end of the same month.
The dates and schedule for granting heating allowance are as follows:
* To be released by the end of October at the latest, KYA on the basis of which it will set out terms and conditions, income and ownership criteria. He notes that the heating allowance ranges from 100 to 800 euros, while for those who give up natural gas the allowance doubles and reaches 1,600 euros.
* In the last ten days of November, the myHeating of AADE online platform for submission of applications will be operational.
* Until November 30, 2022, recipients from last year must apply for the advance payment of heating allowance.
* Until December 10, 2022, the advance payment from the allowance will be paid to those who received the allowance last year and purchased oil.
* On December 15, 2022, the deadline for submission of applications to myheating by recipients ends.
* Until December 30, 2022, new recipients will be paid for all purchases that will be billed, provided the required information is entered by December 15, 2022.
* Payments will be made by February 28, 2023 for all purchases billed by January 31, 2023 provided the required information is entered by February 15, 2023.
*Finally, by April 28, 2023, payments will be made for all purchases that will be billed by March 31, 2023 provided the required information is entered by April 14, 2023.
Finally, it should be noted that beneficiaries are required to submit total fuel purchase documents worth twice the amount of the allowance.
