Pyrea: Road accident involving 34-year-old driver – punched into concrete fence
Less than 24 hours later another tragedy struck the tarmac, this time in Peoria.
A 34-year-old man was driving on the provincial road Litochoro – Blackas Litochoro early in the morning when he suddenly veered off course at the 3rd km at 05:00 and crashed into a concrete fence. According to thestival.gr.
Firefighters rescued the unconscious man from the vehicle.
He was taken by EKAV ambulance to Litochoro Health Center where he was pronounced dead.
The Dion-Olympus Police Department is conducting a preliminary investigation into the cause of the accident.
