The Moroccan gold medal during this qualifying competition for the world championship was the work of Abdel-Razzaq Nasser, who dominated the pommel horse event (the elderly), and thus qualified for the world championship scheduled for this year in Liverpool. His compatriot Zakaria Siti won the bronze medal in the same event.
In the vault, Ashraf Kestas won the silver, while Taha Kabore won the bronze. Similarly, Abdul Razzaq Nasir won the bronze medal in the Parallel Bars event.
The Moroccan team (juniors), consisting of Inas El-Abouri, Shorouq El-Anabi and Rehab Sebti, won the bronze medal for the team behind Egypt and South Africa.
The African Artistic Gymnastics Championships for adults and children witnessed the participation of 95 players from 8 countries: Morocco, Egypt, Algeria, Cameroon, Togo, South Africa, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
