Bad weather in Pelion Daniel: Newlyweds missing – the country house they lived in was washed away

A young couple from Austria got married a few days ago in Argalasti in Pelion and lived in a country house in Potistica, where the couple also lived from their companions, who were rescued on Tuesday, September 5.

Philip and Michaela have been missing for two days after a fierce storm erupted that caused untold destruction.

According to reports from ERT, the young couple chose to stay in the country house, assuming they would be safe that way, unlike other Austrian couples who fled to Sinovrisi and were finally saved.

Both holiday homes drifted out to sea and their fates have been unknown ever since.

“I couldn’t believe it. The children stayed here for three weeks and when they arrived, they got married in Argalasti.

They have vacationed many times and are the same age, around 35 years.

Missing the kids I think I’m going crazy. I couldn’t believe they could have drowned.

Been coming to this area for years

Yesterday EMAK came to Potistica and rescued 6 people from a restaurant.

We thought Philip and Michaela would be among them, but no. “They met an Austrian couple who had been rescued years ago at our summer cottages,” Mr. T. Samaras, owner of the summer cottages, told gegonota.news.

There are 30 people in the area who cannot go on the road leading to Pothikai.
