The company has released little information, but says it takes place in the year 2033 between the original movie and the final film, Blade Runner 2049, in dystopian Los Angeles. The title comes from the in-house Annapurna studio led by Chelsea Hash, who has worked on such notable titles as: Solar Ash, What Remains of Edith Finch, and Radiohead’s Kid A Mnesia Exhibition.
