Who gets 420 euros at Christmas?
In one case, the amount of the exceptional payment of the accuracy check amounts to €420.
Additional assistance is calculated as follows:
1 + 1/2 +1/4 + 1/4 = 2. Therefore, the equivalent income is calculated: 12,000 euros / 2 = 6,000 euros. The families concerned belong to income scale A and receive 280 euros per month. The additional one-and-a-half premium comes to 420 euros, which is 280 euros + 140 euros for the month of December.
Calculate the accuracy of the money check
Correspondingly, you can also calculate the amounts credited to you, according to the income category you belong to.
The amount of assistance amounts to 105, 63 or 42 euros per child for the first and second child, depending on the amount of income, and 210, 126 or 84 for the third and for each subsequent child. The number of beneficiaries is 735 thousand, of which more than one million euros are for children.
For Class A:
70 euros per month for the first dependent child
An additional €70 per month for the second dependent child
Additional €140 per month for the third child and for each dependent child after the third child.
For Class B:
42 euros per month for the first dependent child
An additional €42 per month for the second dependent child
Additional €84 per month for the third child and for each dependent child after the third child.
For Class C:
28 euros per month for the first dependent child
Additional €28 per month for the second dependent child
Additional €56 per month for the third child and for each dependent child after the third child.
New Accuracy Check: When will it be pushed out
The most anticipated benefit is the so-called accuracy check, an extraordinary sum – different for each category – which is expected to reach 500 euros in a few cases, out of a total of 2.3 million beneficiaries waiting to be paid.
Pensioners receiving a pension of up to 800 euros, families with children, uninsured senior citizens, beneficiaries of the guaranteed minimum income and the long-term unemployed are now waiting for the amounts owed to them to be credited to their bank accounts.
It is reported that the representative of the government, Yiannis Okonomo, recently clarified that an effort is being made, and that the most likely payment date is Tuesday, December 20, 2022.
There are also those who will take up to 500 euros for their home. Retired spouses will receive an allowance if and for as long as both spouses or cohabiting partners benefit from the benefit. 250 euros will be paid for both. In other words, they will receive €500 before Christmas, an amount that is €50 more for each dependent member.
This applies if the following criteria are met:
The individual annual taxable income for tax year 2022 does not exceed 9,600 euros (from 7,200 previously)
The annual taxable income of their family (total taxable income of the debtor and his/her spouse/cohabiting partner) does not exceed 16,800 euros (from 14,400 previously)
The total value of the household property resulting from the administrative ENFIA of 2022 (tax year 2021), not exceeding the amount of 300,000 euros (from 200,000 previously)
They are tax residents of Greece and have submitted an income tax return for the 2021 tax year.
