Cooler Master introduces a massive 57-inch curved gaming monitor – Computer

At the Cooler Master booth at Computex 2024, we saw a massive 57-inch curved gaming monitor, the GP57ZS, attracting attention with its impressive size and impressive features.

Featuring dual 4K resolution (7,680 x 2,160 pixels) and 1000R curvature, this monitor aims to deliver an unparalleled gaming experience. The GP57ZS uses VA Mini-LED technology, covering 98% of the DCI-P3 color gamut, ensuring vivid and accurate colours.

For now, the Cooler Master GP57ZS is a proof of concept, showcasing the company’s advancements in several supporting technologies. These include a custom heatsink designed to keep the display cool, an innovative sound system, and a modern design. Although technical specifications are not yet available, the GP57ZS promises to deliver an immersive experience, thanks to its size, high pixel density and 2,304-zone Mini LED backlight, which provides excellent contrast.

Cooler Master also introduced two 27-inch QHD monitors at Computex: the GP27QP, a premium flat panel for everyday use, and the GM27QP, a curved monitor suitable for work and gaming. Both displays feature high pixel densities, fast refresh rates (up to 240Hz for the GP27QP and 160Hz for the GM270P), fast 1ms response times, built-in stereo speakers and low blue light technology for comfortable use especially at night without straining the eyes.

The GP27QP is positioned as a premium model, offering slightly higher refresh rates, HDR1000 certification (compared to the GM27QP HDR400) and superior contrast thanks to Mini LED technology with 1,152 dimming zones. Additionally, the GP27QP includes USB Type-C display connectivity along with HDMI and DisplayPort, providing convenient compatibility with laptops and smart devices.
