Just a week ago, Edge . appeared Monday Night Raw With an open challenge for anyone who wants to advance and a new moment with them in WrestleMania 38 On April 2 and 3, 2022, at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. There were some statements in his promo that would have been considered harassment of anyone from Cody Rhodes to AJ Styles.
He came back this week to see who would answer the call.
It really was a huge thing.
“I accept,” Styles said.
“I’m glad I’ve wanted this match for so long,” Edge replied.
“But I want AJ’s Bulldog — I don’t want the guy who was playing the tag team prostitute with Omos last year.”
Fighting words!
Edge went to heel here, hitting Styles with several cheap shots, including a good old kick to the nuts, and was booed by the end of the part. That’s thanks to not one but two conchairtos.
