War threats…

What is happening in the past few months is unprecedented and predicts that 2023 will not be an easy year for anyone.

Last week, Erdogan directly threatened Greece that with the new Typhoon missiles he could hit Athens, while President Putin organized a festive parade of installing missiles capable of hitting the West with a favored target of London …

A few weeks ago, China had directly threatened Taiwan. The common denominator of all these developments is that revisionist forces seek to change the world situation in the here and now…

All these developments remind us of the period leading up to the Russian invasion of Ukraine or the Turkish invasion of northern Syria. For those who read history, they recall the time when the Axis powers (Germany, Italy and Japan) through threats prepared their public opinion and then annexed territory from neighboring states…

It is reported that last week, according to the Turkish Anadolu Agency, Recep Tayyip Erdogan publicly stated that Turkey will retaliate if Greece continues to arm the Aegean islands. The Turkish president did not even hesitate to threaten Athens with a strike.

“Now we are starting to build our missiles. Of course, this production scares the Greeks. When you say ‘Typhon’, the Greek gets scared. In Greece, they say it will hit Athens.

Of course it will happen if you don’t sit wisely…”.

Then he added that if Greece tries to buy equipment from America and put it on the islands, Turkey will not remain a spectator and “something will have to be done.”

Two or three days later, last Friday, the Putin regime capped off a three-day show of force against the West by deploying more long-range missiles on Russia’s western borders.

The channels showed footage of the development of the Yaris strategic missile, which can be equipped with a nuclear warhead and hit not only Europe, but also the United States of America.

In the course of these events, a military officer (Colonel Igor Koroshenko) stated that the exercise was a rehearsal for the destruction of the United Kingdom and the United States …

Then General Gurulev called the West “evil” to arm Ukraine attacking Russia: “Then why are we ashamed to say we should strike London?

I’m not saying we should take them all apart. We must destroy vital facilities – control centers, military bases and airfields. I’m sure we have a list in the General Staff and it’s constantly updated… Are they nuclear… or not? ”

Clearly, the limits have been crossed. Turkey considers Greece a vassal state and should not arm itself, especially the islands close to Turkey.

Russia believes it can occupy neighboring Ukraine and depopulate it without Western democracies daring to support Ukrainian resistance. Such situations show that the chances of a general ignition are particularly high and that Greece is very close to the flashpoints, a fact that could have direct effects very soon …

These do not portend a better year 2023 than 2022. On the contrary …
