Green light for a ground operation in the Gaza Strip – hundreds dead and many hostages

Today, Israeli air strikes destroyed three buildings belonging to the “Palestine Tower” in the Al-Rinal neighborhood in Gaza City, according to what journalists from Agence France-Presse reported. They saw the three towers, consisting of more than ten floors, collapse one after the other after explosions.

The Israeli army said it hit “two high-rise buildings” with air strikes, accusing the “Hamas terrorist organization”, which controls power in Gaza, of protecting its military infrastructure “in the heart of the population” of the Palestinian Strip.

The army confirmed that it warned residents before the strikes and “asked them to evacuate the area.”

Abu Ubaida, spokesman for the military wing of the Hamas movement, said that the response to this attack “will force Tel Aviv to stand on its feet.” Rockets continued to be fired at southern communities and cities in Israel in recent hours. Sirens sounded in towns near the border fence of the Gaza Strip and in the town of Netivot.

After all, the Israeli army announced that since morning it had killed hundreds of Palestinian fighters in southern towns along the Gaza border.

“Among these incidents, aircraft intercepted two fighters who attempted to cross the perimeter fence near the Karni Pass, nine others were killed in the Nirim community, and four others were killed in the Erez Pass and Kibbutz Nir Oz during air strikes. Other Hamas members were also killed, according to the same source, in Kibbutz Sufa, Kfar Gaza and Kerem Shalom.
