As stated in the relevant notification, the disputed structure is as follows:
- 10% horizontal increase in salaries of public sector employees, basically to address lack of time and inflation.
- Restoration of gifts.
- Collective agreements on wages.
- Removal of two-year wage freeze 2016–2017.
- Abolition of 2% unemployment tax.
- Tax-free allowance increases to 12,000 euros.
- Unhealthy work allowance increase.
- Recruitment of immediate staff along with permanent staff of all critical public institutions (health, education, social services, insurance etc.) and development of all necessary infrastructure.
At the same time ADEDY General Council It was decided to hold meetings and public meetings all over the country in the next period, with the objective of informing the colleagues on the one hand and on the other hand to conduct the strike march well.
Furthermore, the General Council of ADEDY resolved as follows:
- Strike action on Labor Day (May 1, 2024).
- Support for mobilization of health workers (POEDIN-OENGE) on May 16, 2024.
- Support of the mobilisations of the educational federations taking place at this time with strike-absenteeism.
