France has been on high alert in recent days, after repeated threats of attacks on various public buildings.
The Palace of Versailles was evacuated on Tuesday due to a bomb threat that was repeated three times. The palace remained closed for the rest of the day, according to police and the palace management authority.
The Chateau de Versailles announced on its Twitter account (X) that, “For security reasons, the Palace of Versailles is being evacuated of its guests and is closing its doors for today.”
