The big discovery was made by analyzing shipping and customs data allegedly linked to NVIDIA and Nintendo. Eager fans have pored over these files, revealing details of testing new parts and development kits with codes that don’t match any existing Nintendo Switch models.

Somehow, we learned that the Nintendo Switch 2 might include two 6GB LPDDR5 memory modules, at 7,500MB/s, along with 256GB of universal flash storage (UFS 3.1). These specifications indicate a very significant improvement in memory and storage compared to the current generation.

Initial estimates of Nintendo Switch 2 performance:
