According to MEGA TV station, Mrs. Maria’s 16-year-old son is studying in high school in a special school. On November 9, the young man was attacked by 3 of his classmates who took him by surprise, attacked him from behind and then brutally assaulted him.

As a result, his jaw was injured and fractured. The said incident left the 16-year-old with fear, as a result of which he did not leave the room during recess.

The special school also has psychologists and social workers, but they did not take steps to prevent the incident.

Mother of 16-year-old Patras: “They harassed him, cursed him and threatened him”

The mother of a 16-year-old girl spoke to the same media about the ordeal her son has been going through for two years.

Ms. Maria stressed at the beginning: “My son has been having trouble going to school for two years. 3 children have been harassing him, cursing, cursing our family, even meeting him outside the school and threatening him with a tree, all this for no reason. They have targeted the child and behaved like that. I informed the teachers and principals, I was out of the school several times and stayed there during school hours to see what was going on. I held meetings again whenever the teachers and social services wanted. I also went alone and “harassed” them and talked to the previous and current management of the school about the incident. “.

“A group of students are threatening my child, they are threatening him, they want to beat him up, I told them what the administration was telling me and they told me that I am keeping them busy. school party and other activities”, Ms Maria added.

Since the incident came to light, the directorate has not taken adequate steps, the student’s mother asserted.

Finally, the 16-year-old’s mother stated: “After that, I took my child to the hospital, I went to the Patras police, where they registered the incident, I spoke to the public prosecutor. The directorate contacted me and suspended me for 2 days in an emergency meeting, and the child department, which was in charge. They also told me to move 8km away. The other two accomplices stayed at our school. Every child goes through adolescence and tries to deal with every problem. What did social services do when I was gone for 2 years? Often the school’s biggest injury is the parents.”
