Samsung breaks its silence after the Galaxy S24 event blunder

As we reported, while everything went smoothly at the live stream of the first Galaxy Unpacked demo of 2024, there was also a blunder on social media. More specifically, her official account Samsung X (formerly Twitter) posted a photo of a woman who attended the show to watch it up close. He pointed it out to her Valkyrie, one of the most popular live streamers in the world, has more than 4 million subscribers on YouTube, but she was not herself at the show held at the SAP Center in California. Apparently, Samsung's social media account manager made a mistake, mistaking the unknown woman for Valkyrae.

But it didn't end there! Valkyrae herself decided to point out Samsung's mistake, writing in a post on her official X profile: “Hey Samsung, that's not me”. A few minutes later, this post did not go unnoticed, as Samsung decided to turn around its mistake… by banning the streaming device, which it pointed out again.

Samsung's decision to ban the streaming device over a mistake it didn't make was hotly debated on X, where the post is now trending Over 11 million views! In fact, it's gotten so much hype that rival companies, like OnePlus, have decided to cash in on it.

Finally, now that the dust has settled, Samsung has admitted its mistake and decided to publicly apologize to Valkyrae. Below you will find the new related post.

Samsung's official response:

Welcome. We sincerely apologize for the mistakes we made during the Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. We will never ban you intentionally. We will be more careful to ensure that these mistakes are not repeated.
