On Saturday night (1/13), the 25-year-old national polo team defender scored the winning goal in the minor final of the European Championship in the Netherlands and sent Greece to the Olympic Games.
Nicole Eleftheriadou scored 7-6 against Italy and made history. The great defender who launched a dynamite shot has had a dream since she was a child: to play in the Olympics.
After 16 years of absence and with an own goal, the Greek national team will be in Paris this summer to achieve excellence in the Olympic Games.
In the United States, Sasha Vezenkov found out about his girlfriend's achievements and hastened to publicly congratulate her. He wrote on Instagram: “How proud I am of you,” and placed two hearts next to it and of course a picture of his girlfriend with a bouquet of flowers and a bronze medal in her mouth.
She posted the story of her lover and wrote: “The man who supports me from the other side of the world.”
The preseason No. 1 ranked player visited Sacramento to see months later Sasha was playing in the top basketball league in the world.
The pair met through mutual friends while playing for Olympiacos. They made their first appearance as a couple in January 2023 at the wedding of Kostas Slokas.
Since then, their public appearances have increased. They even spent their summer vacations together in Bulgaria and in many parts of Greece.
They were both born champions and only think about the top. Despite the distance, their love blossoms, and from the beginning they respect each other's wishes and careers.
