The search for Dimitrova Nikolina took a tragic turn when the woman’s body was identified on Thursday, having been found in advanced decomposition on the beach of Rethymnon in July.

The cause of his death is being investigated by the relevant authorities.

The woman, who worked as a domestic worker, was reported missing in late June and a missing person alert was issued in July.

According to the website anikolouli.gr, the 50-year-old from Bulgaria has been working in our country for the past few years.

Despite her serious health problems, her relatives had hope for so long that she was alive and would be found.

Not everyone attached importance to the body found in Rethymnon, because the forensics department said it brought a llama on the leg from a previous operation, which the family believed was not the case with Nikolina. If so, it must not be their missing person, they said, but they too were waiting for an answer at the lab.

It took six months for her son’s DNA “light” to turn on in Germany.

The unfortunate mother went missing on June 22 in Heraklion, Crete. He is believed to have taken the liner from there to Praeus, but it never arrived. She fell into the sea and the currents carried her to Rethymnon, where she was found. As the website points out, according to the medical examiner who examined the body, when it was found, no signs of criminal activity were found.
