Alarms were raised in Brussels on Monday evening when a gunman opened fire, killing two people and wounding at least another.

According to information from Le Soir, the attacker referred to ISIS at the time of the two men’s killing, with Belgian authorities investigating the case as a terrorist attack.

According to reports, the man opened fire on men wearing Swedish national team shirts, while they were in the Belgian capital to attend the national teamโs match in the 2024 European Championship.

After the attack, the gunman posted videos on social media.
