“I mean no offense to anyone,” Smith said. “I’m not a restaurant and it’s a requirement to get vaccinated to participate in the Screen Actors Guild Awards.”

“He will not be vaccinated,” he added.

“I haven’t been vaccinated since I was a little kid,” Smith said. “I don’t vaccinate my dogs, and I don’t vaccinate my horses.” “I’ve never had the flu before. I would never do that. I think they put your immunity at risk.”

CNN watched the video on Smith’s Instagram Account Verified before deleting it.
According to the SAG AwardsAll attendees with tickets will be required to show proof of vaccination as well as the booster vaccine (if eligible), proof of a negative Covid-19 PCR lab test within 48 hours of the event, and a negative (rapid) antigen test on the day of the event.

Smith said he was looking forward to walking the red carpet in a cowboy hat and boots “representing my culture and my heritage.”

The SAG Awards will be broadcast live on TNT and TBS at 8 PM ET on February 27. TBT and TBS are owned by WarnerMedia, the parent company of CNN.
