Fortunately, Apple says this is a temporary situation, as fingerprints or fingerprints can be erased as usual and disappear like any other iPhone so users can enjoy a clean, even finish.
“For iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max, oil in your skin may temporarily discolour the bezel,” the company says in the document. “Wipe your iPhone with a soft, slightly damp cloth to return it to its original condition.”
Since Apple’s announcement last week, we’ve seen various images circulating on social media of the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max with visible fingerprints on the titanium frame. However, device owners need not worry as it is not a permanent condition or malfunction.
