The death of Husky Oliver in Arsoa turns into a thriller, as the vet who examined the animal while it was still alive insists that someone was involved in abusing the unfortunate animal, while the police conclude that it died from a dog attack.
The decisions made by the police officers were based on the video material and the reports they collected that Oliver was followed by a pack of dogs.

Now time is ticking in the homicide unit, where they await the medical examiner’s final answers. However, the owner of the 8-year-old husky believes there is one person behind the case.
“This does not mean that a person is not responsible”
EL.AS’s press representative, Constantia Dimoglido, said the preliminary investigation has not been completed and is expected to conclude this week.
“An expert opinion of a veterinary professor ordered by the prosecutor is also expected. What I can say is that there is no evidence from the video footage from the material in our hands. However, this does not mean that a person is not responsible, but it will be looked at by experts.
Regarding whether Oliver’s owner has legal liability, Ms. Timoglido said:
“There is a special law for controlled animals and the owner has obligations. It has to be in public and private places. It has not been ruled out that he was attacked by another dog,” he said.
The lawyer of the owner of the unfortunate four-legged friend, Antola Anasoklou, spoke about the case in the “Social Hour MEGA” program, revealing that the expert’s opinion will not be made with existing objects, but from photographs. The dog was in a state of disrepair and was requested to be removed.
“There is no question about the responsibility of the owner. Yesterday I went to AT Distomou and asked questions to Mr. Lawyer, because I was told that the expert opinion will not be done with the existing material, but with photographs. The exhumation of the animal was ordered and the decision was made that the expert opinion with photographs would be done based on all the laboratory tests. Done. I may request an exception for this particular expert. We will appoint a technical consultant and today I will submit the name of an AUTH professor who will help,” he initially said.
“I will file photos showing him with a certain person”
After that, Ms. Anasoglou made another revelation.
“Today I will submit photographs of the period we are afraid of and show the dog with the particular person. From all the movements, the man seems to be looking at the dog strangely. After all this time the people of Arsova started talking. Everyone speaks highly of Michalis and the animal. Initially there was a negative attitude from the residents. It does not mean that he is a resident of Arasova, he may be a passer-by (criminal). My principal is shocked.”
Mrs. Constantia Dimoglido said prosecutors will decide whether the owner will also be fined.
