In more detail, the airport tarmac on Agricultural School Avenue, maintenance work will be carried out at the following locations:
A) Blocking a traffic lane from the intersection of the level intersection of “Macedonia” airport to the intersection of the level intersection of Polygyros (green traffic lights), in the direction of Thessaloniki, for the execution of works.
The work will commence from Wednesday 12th July to Thursday 13th July 2023 at 7.00 am. And depending on the prevailing weather conditions.
B) From junction K13 – National Road 67 Thessaloniki – Intersection of Thessaloniki Ring Road with Airport. Work is scheduled to take place on Friday 14 July 2023, overnight (9pm-6am), subject to prevailing weather conditions. They will be carried out in two phases, each time the relevant traffic direction will be completely blocked.
The relevant consultation has already been carried out with the Thessaloniki Transport Directorate and Thermi Transport Department to make the necessary transport arrangements for safe transport during the work.
