Evita and Hilda Eliopoulos: Dino Eliopoulos' daughters on a rare outing

There was a rare public appearance by Dinos Eliopoulos' daughters, Evita and Hilda Eliopoulos.

Dinos Eliopoulos's two daughters “attended” the presentation of Thanassis Efthymiades' book entitled “Small Stories, Big Lessons”, and the camera caught them smiling.

Friends and colleagues of Thanassis Efthymiades were at the Ross Theater for a screening of his second book, which contains stories and encounters that he chose to keep, because he can remember himself even today.

Evita and Hilda Eliopoulou honored the actor with their presence and chose black ensembles, with the latter contrasting with a cream raincoat.

Dinos Eliopoulos gave many laughs to Greek audiences, but he also moved through exceptional dramatic roles. He belonged to the “golden” generation of Greek cinema and stood out because he was what Americans call a “triple threat”: he acted, danced and sang.

The Greek actor was married twice, and his first marriage lasted a few months, while the second marriage took place in 1963 to Hildegard Witcher, who is of Austrian origin. They had two daughters, Evita and Hilda. Evita was born in 1964 and Hilda in 1972.

In a previous interview on the “Apokalyptika” program, Evita Eliopoulou spoke about her father, the age difference with her mother, and the relationship between them. “My father didn't make me young. He was already 48 when he made me. So I always grew up with an old father, and I saw him as a grandfather. My mother wasn't Greek, so we were also brought up with the discipline of her Austrian roots. They were 25. We were four generations At home, we were three sisters and a father who, as a person, was not very involved in family events.”
