Everything was swept away by a huge fire in southern Attica – the mayor of Saronida, Christos Ginis, spoke of the enormous devastation.

It’s about her “Worst disaster in Saronicos municipality in recent years”Mr. Guinis said, stressing that there are many fires without the wind stopping.
“Our first concern is that no more houses are burnt, and we have earlier ordered the evacuation of several residential areas and parts of the feared areas.”Mr. Guinness added.
“The municipality of Saronikos has 30,000 and more permanent residents. In the summer, however, 100,000,” concluded Saronida Mayor.
