A series of subsidized programs to reduce energy spending for households and companies will be announced during the year by the Ministry of Environment and Energy, according to the minister’s statement. Costas Screkas.
These are programs related to the installation of photovoltaic cells, the purchase of solar water heaters and household appliances, as well as the provision of energy to small and medium businesses.

– The photovoltaic program announced by Prime Minister Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis at TIF will provide support for the installation of solar power generation systems by families, professionals and farmers. The legislative regulation that guarantees the required “electrical space” in the distribution network has already been passed, while the platform for receiving requests for DEDDIE is ready. The goal is to announce by January.
For the “Change Device” programme, Brussels’ approval is expected in order to include more runners-up, in addition to those already announced. “As long as there is a rider in second place, we will try to find money,” said Mr. Skerikas.
The solar water heater program will have a budget of 65 million euros. The goal is also to announce by the end of the year. – In a few days, the “Save for Business” guide will be pre-published with a value of 200 million euros, of which 100 million will be allocated to the tourism sector and the rest to the trade and tourism sectors.
