After related tests in several indices, nine (9) companies have reached higher profit margins than allowed by Greek law, including indices related to baby milk products.

Development Minister Kostas Skrekas said: “What we say, we mean it. Today we imposed a heavy fine against one of the most famous companies specializing in baby milk. The Ministry of Development's control mechanisms are on constant alert. Unfair profit-seeking practices are not allowed. Supporting the family is our government's priority. Our duty is to prevent profiteering in milk, as evidenced by the new measures voted by Parliament.
