From the Apple TV platform, we choose a very special spy series from Britain, which has already released its first two seasons. According to the script, the famous MI5 has a special department, “The Pit”, where it sends agents and officers who fail miserably or make mistakes that cost the service. Presiding there is Jackson Lamb (Gary Oldman), who openly encourages his subordinates to do absolutely nothing; However, some of them disobey orders, and soon the entire department becomes embroiled in high-profile national security issues.

Abbasi addresses the issue of misogyny that characterizes Iranian society, through a haunting suspense thriller, following both a female journalist heroine and a hardened killer. Indeed, the treatment of the latter by the rest of society masks the most infuriating grounds of truth.
