“At one point, Maria and I went through a big crisis that lasted 8 years. She had an affair that led to an engagement, and when it ended, I couldn’t handle it either and she treated me like a punching bag.” Lina Manda, With her daughter fills:

“We didn’t even say the basics. One time my mother said I needed a psychiatrist, so I told her she needed a psychiatrist. Finally they both went… I tried for many years to read her book. I finished it with great effort, and great pain in myself to finish it and when I was able to So, I threw it away and told her not to give me her book again unless I wrote something else… She’s my mother.
