EMY has issued an emergency notice regarding bad weather. Emergency Weather Deterioration Bulletin issued on 09-11-2023/1230 local time updated as per latest forecast data.
A. Heavy rain and storms expected today Saturday (11-11-23):
A. In the eastern Aegean islands (mainly Chios – Samos), in the northern Ionian (Corfu – Paxos area), Epirus, eastern Peloponnese and southern parts of Kythira.
B. From noon in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace.
c. From late night in the Dodecanese.
Effects will weaken in the afternoon and from the west and will be limited to the eastern Aegean and Dodecanese, where they will weaken on Sunday morning.
B. Locally intense southerly winds of 8 Beaufort Saturday (11-11-23) from morning to afternoon over the Aegean.
C. From Sunday (12-11-23) afternoon to Monday (13-11-23) afternoon a new weather with heavy rain and storms from the north-west initially over western Greece and on Monday over the eastern Aegean and Thrace.
