The father of Maccabi Haifa’s manager, Gil Ofek, went missing after an attack by Hamas militants in the area where he lives.
In the wake of the bloody conflicts taking place in the Middle East, after its sudden attack A Palestinian armed organization Hamas in Israel, hundreds of people lost their lives, thousands injured, while many are also missing.
Gil Ofek, manager of Maccabi Haifa, Panathinaikos’ Europa League rival, has lost track of his father Benchi.
For its part, the Israeli team confirmed this fact, saying: “The Maccabi Haifa family is praying for Benji’s safety and hopes that security forces will arrive at the scene and save his life.”
