The Music Frame is a worthy soundbar for Samsung's The Frame TVs

The series has been upgraded significantly over time, but at this year's CES, the Korean company brought an accessory that fits perfectly with its premium TV series, but can also work independently as a standalone Bluetooth or WiFi speaker. Otherwise, it can be part of a home theater system with a soundbar and the company's TV.

The Music Frame (HW-LS60D), as it's called, is a wireless speaker that can do double duty, as an element of space decoration at home – in addition to The Frame TV – as well as a high-quality speaker system. Although it doesn't have a screen, it can serve as a frame for photos or other artwork that you still have to change manually.

Inside it has two woofers, two tweeters and two midrange drivers with a tweeter array capable of delivering Dolby Atmos sound. It also uses Samsung's SpaceFit technology to calibrate the sound depending on the space it will be placed in for optimal performance. Samsung claims the Music Frame offers a “wide radial soundstage” that delivers high-quality sound wherever you sit. The two speakers are on the back while the other four are on the front, an arrangement that Samsung says helps create clear, natural sound.

Of course, the Music Frame can only be compatible with Samsung's Q-Symphony technology, which uses the TV's speakers along with any additional home theater equipment to enhance the overall sound quality. As mentioned, the music framework can also work independently, hence Samsung has integrated a complete IoT hub into the speaker so that it is voice-enabled (accepts voice commands) in collaboration with your favorite digital assistant (e.g. Google Assistant etc.). Samsung hasn't currently announced a cost or release date for Music Frame, but we know it won't be long before it does.
