New first-aid payments were made today to victims of floods in various parts of the country, especially in Thessaly, due to the bad weather at the beginning of September. In particular, 8,606,711.81 euros were credited to citizens’ bank accounts.

Those affected by floods in the aforementioned areas whose details were not received through the AADE automatic identification process can submit an application on the website arogi.gov.gr so that they too can receive the compensation they deserve. Of course, flood-affected citizens in other, multiple, affected areas are also invited to submit an application, as has been done significantly to date. It is noted that 26,683 finalized applications and 4,794 provisional applications have been made till noon on Monday, September 25, 2023.

It is worth noting that beneficiaries may not have emerged from AADE’s automatic identification process because, inter alia, they: (a) do not have or submit an IBAN, (b) address details are not clearly recorded. These subsidies are also applicable to secondary residences, limited to 50% of the amount paid for primary residences. The above aid is paid through the arogi.gov.gr platform, after the necessary cross-checks and checks, with special attention to the affected areas worldwide.
