The new TCL50 debuts at MWC at a starting price of €65 – OnePlus

TCL was very active during CES a few weeks ago, except that its announcements in Las Vegas were – at least officially – exclusive to the US market.

We had to wait until the end of February to find out during MWC the company's plans for European markets as well. Accordingly, four new proposals are expected to appear in the second quarter. They are all classified under the budget category of devices, offering an excellent price/performance ratio and excellent entry-level solutions.

We start with the TCL 50 5G (€ 149), a comprehensive and satisfying smartphone that adapts without problem to every user's lifestyle, with a 6.6-inch NXTVISION display with 90 Hz, HD + resolution and DTS 3D sound. The device includes a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+, 128GB storage, and 4GB RAM which is doubled thanks to RAM expansion technology. Its AI HYBRID camera has a resolution of 50 megapixels, while its battery capacity is 5010 mAh. We note that Google has awarded the TCL 50 5G Android Enterprise Recommended certification.

Continuing with the TCL 50 SE (starting at € 149) which the company describes as “every entertainment lover's dream”, resulting from the combination of a 6.8-inch FHD+ display and DTS 3D sound, in other words, everything for those who love streaming content. Inside the smartphone we find a MediaTek Helio G88, 6 GB of RAM (plus more thanks to RAM expansion), 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage, a 5010 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging function and Android Enterprise Recommated certification by Google. .

The TCL 505 (starting at €99) comes to change the level of your viewing experiences with its 6.75-inch HD display and 90Hz refresh rate for smooth navigation. It features dual stereo speakers and NXTVISION technology for vivid colors and enhanced eye care. With up to 128GB of storage (there's also a cheaper 64GB version), a 50MP dual camera and a 5010mAh battery, it's a very flexible and economical device.

Finally, we conclude with the TCL 501 (59 euros) which stands out thanks to its surprisingly low price that makes it one of the cheapest smartphone apps on the market (we remind you that its availability starts in the second quarter). TCL provided it with a 6-inch screen, an octa-core processor, 32 GB of internal storage, 2 GB of RAM, and a 3000 mAh battery.
