Xbox’s Phil Spencer may have revealed something he shouldn’t have (photo)

The Phil Spencer It appears to have accidentally detected (or not) the new broadcast device being set up by Microsoft.

In case you didn’t know, last March a list of the company that “hosted” some of the names (codenames) of its products was leaked. Among these products, there was also “something” called “Keystone“.

Microsoft confirmed the existence of Keystone at a later date and said it would be a streaming exclusive. It is basically a device through which the user can enjoy their games via the cloud. Now, Xbox Chief may have revealed Keystone’s early appearance.

It all started with his official Twitter account when he wished Bethesda at the age of 25a Fallout birthday with a picture from the office and more specifically from his bookshelf. Several users who saw this tweet noticed a “box” in this photo that looks like an Xbox Series S, but it’s smaller and it looks like we’ve never seen it before.

Soon after, well-known journalist, Tom Warren, who works for The Verge, said that Spencer had just revealed an Xbox from Microsoft, which will be exclusive to streaming.

Below you will find the respective image:

For the record, Microsoft officially confirmed in June 2021 that it was preparing both the Xbox Streaming stick and the official app for Smart TVs, which issued A few months ago. So it looks like the stick will most likely be a compact Xbox Series S. However, since nothing has been officially confirmed, it is best to approach all of the above with caution.

Microsoft has not officially commented on the appearance of the streaming “console,” but the official Xbox account responded to this tweet with the following words: “How about putting old prototypes on your shelf head“.

We don’t know if this chest existed by chance. But, as the sages say, where there is smoke, there is fire.
