“It’s a white area.”
Zoe Kravitz Amazes audiences around the world as Catwoman in Batman.
Of course, Zöe has been a star for years — and you’ve probably seen her on the HBO series Big Little Lies.
In an interview with observerZoe spoke about her experience filming the series while revealing that her character, Bonnie Howard Carlson, was “originally written for a white person.”
Big Little Lies Filmed primarily on location in Monterey, California, Zoe said filming on location was “a little uncomfortable” at times.
“There were a few moments where I felt a little bit uncomfortable because it’s a white area,” she explained.
Zoe also said that she felt this way in Monterey because of “the weird racist people in bars and things like that.”
You may have read earlier today that Zoe also revealed that she was rejected by The Dark Knight Rises Because of the color of her skin.
“Being a woman of color and an actress, and being told at the time that I couldn’t read because of the color of my skin, and the word ‘urban’ being thrown like that, that was what was really difficult about that moment.”
