The case of a 12-year-old girl from Colonos who was raped and pimped has not been closed as new arrest warrants are expected.
According to STAR, these are eight men, two Greeks and six foreigners, for whom the girl gave specific information in her sixth statement, which led to the authorities’ identification. Now, it takes a few hours for them to issue an arrest warrant.
So far 24 people including the girl’s mother have been arrested in this heinous case. Her lawyers appealed the authorities’ decision not to see her daughter, who insisted in her sixth statement that her mother had no involvement.
“I am very impressed by the delay. Not even the specific people the child pointed to were called. He has provided all the evidence and it is very easy for the investigating officers to find the specific men,” Apostolos Litras, the mother of the 12-year-old’s lawyer, told the Star.
In October 2022, the girl’s nightmare came to light when 53-year-old HM, who ran a shop in Colonos, was found to have raped and kidnapped the girl. Rapists were interested in the photos of a 12-year-old girl, who was 53 years old, and took her to a brothel.
