The deceased held various positions on the board of directors of EOI and was accused of sexual abuse in 1998. Sophia Pecatoro.
Aristides Adamopoulos resigned his post at EOI after the “golden” Olympian’s complaint. He had been suffering from a serious illness for a long time and his body could not bear it.

His funeral will take place on Monday, September 26 at 16:00 at the Holy Church of Agios Christophers in Bikarmi. The Hellenic Sailing Federation sends its deepest condolences to his family.
