A 50-year-old municipal councilor in Chios falls off a cliff and fights to stay alive.
According to local media, around 11.30am the unfortunate man was walking with his wife between Agia Ermioni and Mega Limniona.
Suddenly he lost his balance while on the roadside and fell on the cliff.

He was seriously injured in the fall and required the intervention of the fire department to rescue him. Five firefighters with a vehicle rescued him from the difficult spot, and an ambulance took him to Skylitsios Hospital.
According to reports, he suffered multiple injuries and skull injuries and was rushed to surgery.
At Mega Limnionas, an injured person who fell in an inaccessible area was transported to safety and received by an EKAV ambulance. #Chios.
